Speed Workouts

Beginning January 6th, 2010 and continuing every Wednesday morning at 5:30 throughout the year, we will host workouts for those looking to improve their racing speed. These professionally supervised workouts will be led by Coach Mark Lorenzoni and will guide those looking to improve their 5K, Four Miler, 10K, ten mile, half marathon and marathon times. There is no fee and the workouts are open to all abilities but you must complete a two mile time trial to participate. We will meet outside the UVA track at 5:30am for instructions and will finish by 7:00 at the latest. We will also hold a series of races once a month at the same location and time to test your improvement throughout the year.
