2024 Central Virginia Kids' Races & Events

We are thrilled to announce the a full series of Kids' Races & Events for 2024. Many of them you will recognize as already established events, while many are newly created ones we can't wait to debut. The demand for more youth events has been present for many years, and we hope to slowly expand on this annual series over time. As always, our goal of providing fun, age appropriate opportunities that introduce kids to running is first and foremost, all the while partnering with volunteer-led events that directly benefit various non-profit organizations here in our community.
July
23 — Charlottesville Track Club's All-Comer Summer Track Meet #3 featuring many events for kids
30 — Charlottesville Track Club's All-Comer Summer Track Meet #4 featuring many events for kids
October
20 — JackFest 2024 A family friendly festival at Foxfield (all on grass) that features kids' races of various distances (100m, 200m, One Mile & 2.5K) plus a child-parent 2x200 Relay. New this year is the first Elementary & Middle School XC Race at Foxfield ever!
