How to Safely Attain Your Running Goals
ince 1980 Ragged Mountain’s co-owner, Mark Lorenzoni has been coaching runners of all abilities and ages to their personal running goals. During that time, he has successfully advised and coached several thousand runners to their individual racing goals and, more importantly, to a lifelong partnership with running. Mark does all of this coaching on a volunteer basis.

Mark coaches some of his athletes through the CTC’s Ten Miler Training Program and the CTC’s Marathon/Half Marathon Training Program and the UVa Urology Department’s Men’s Four Miler Training Program, his summer weekly Speed/Track Workouts and through his kid's running clinics. Through these programs, clinics and speed workouts he annually coaches over 1,000 athletes from novices to marathon and Ten Miler Champions and from ages 5-80!
