Ten Miler Training Program
WHEN: Questionnaires are available in late September and the program always kicks off in late October and runs through the Ten Miler race, which is typically in late March.
WHERE: The group meets on Saturday mornings from late October until early March at 8:00am at the UVa Track for a very quick lecture and a group long run.
WHO: Anyone (and we mean anyone) can participate, as we feature six different level groups within the overall program.
HOW TO SIGN UP: Folks may sign up online starting in early October or out at the program site on Saturday mornings throughout the Fall.
COST: $15 for non Charlottesville Track Club Members and $10 for CTC members.
COACH: Mark Lorenzoni has served as the coach (on a volunteer basis) since the program started in 1988. Cathie Branchaud has served as the Program Assistant since 2008 and helps coordinate the 45 CTC CAPTAINS, who head up the Saturday “long” runs.
