Dear Ragged Mountain Friends,
With the transition into Phase II of Virginia's plan, we wanted to update all of you, our valued patrons, on Ragged Mountain's next steps. Despite the relaxing of several restrictions regarding our business, we will continue to serve everyone outside for the foreseeable future. Due to the nature of our business, where many interactions are long (30+ minutes), hands on, and in a crowded indoor space where they can be upwards of 25-30 people at one time, we just feel much more comfortable serving you outside in the open. How long until that changes you may ask? We honestly don't know.
That being said, we have fully transitioned our normal in-store, personalized gait analysis and fitting into a completely curbside model, where we are able to help up to 8 separate customers (or families) at once. Every single aspect of the service you have come to expect from us these past 38 years is still available to you, just outside in the open air instead of in the confines of our store. Our 8 outdoor fitting stations (with tents to protect you from the sun) are all separated by 10+ feet and allow us to help you while still following as strict of health guidelines as we possibly can. All of our employees wear masks at all times, and we just ask that if you're going to be utilizing one of these try on stations (as opposed to a quick grab and go of a pre-paid item), that you also wear a mask as well. If needed, we have free disposable masks for you to use. And if you have some sort of health condition that prevents you from wearing a mask, please let us know in advance so that we can serve you in a different manner.
In addition to the curbside help, we continue to offer free shipping to all of our orders as well as free home delivery within a 10 mile radius. Plus, all orders will continue to receive a 15% discount on every item in the store (except Garmins & Theraguns)! Our online store is always open and has a very accurate, up to date inventory of almost the entire store.
We continue to feel emotionally overwhelmed by the outpouring of generosity and support our family has received from so many of you during these past three months. We are eternally grateful for this and are excited to continue serving you as we move forward together.
We really appreciate your flexibility as we all do our best to adapt,
The Lorenzoni Family

Frequently Asked Questions...
What are your hours?
Monday-Friday 8:30am-4:30pm
Saturday 8:30am-3:30pm
Sunday CLOSED
Do we need an appointment to get fit or to try on shoes?
No, you do not. That being said, we try to do as much work as possible on the front end to minimize the length of time each customer is here, so please call/email us ahead of time so we can pull shoes for you or at least know that you are coming.
If we've never shopped before or need a gait analysis from scratch, how does that work?
We are no longer encouraging local customers to do the virtual fitting process (although we are still more than happy to do it if you live out of the area, or if you are local and don't feel comfortable coming down to the store), and are encouraging people to just show up during our hours so we can help you in person. Please bring your current shoes (and some socks :)) with you!
