Mark and Cynthia
Well after 13 days and 196 miles, our walk of a lifetime came to a bittersweet end, as we covered the last 18 miles through the lush heather of the North York Moors and down along the breathtaking coastline cliffs to the old smugglers village of Robin Hood's Bay, where we threw our two stones, we had carried from the Irish Sea, into the North Sea. Even though we were thrilled to have gone from Coast to Coast across England, crossing through three stunning National Parks along the way, we're sad to set aside our walking sticks. We will forever cherish the memories of this incredible journey and we now have an even deeper appreciation of the accomplishments of those who have hiked much longer distance walks, like the Appalachian Trail. We thank all of you for following along with us and we look forward to seeing you when we get home... we miss you!
Cheers! Mark and Cynthia
